A photograph is a very special medium for me. A magical moment, often intimate, captured in time. Since working closely with Gabriele Rigon I have begun to appreciate this more and more. Gabriele's photography has inspired many of my paintings and become much of my source material - after all he is probably the world's best photographer of the female form. Through his understanding, he effortlessly creates natural, unforced and above all sensual images.

My photography is moving in a different direction and I would call it "Urban Sensuality". I try to capture natural beauty in everyday surroundings. Creating images just like the memories we all have, where we saw some beautiful passing stranger all too briefly and go on to remember them for the rest of our lives...
