I'm often asked if I take commissions. My answer is both "yes" and "no" By now you should know what drives my passion to paint - so I'm sorry I can't paint your dog!

However, if you approach me with a beautiful photograph of a beautiful girl I'll be interested - for instance if you've seen some of Gabriele's work that you would like to see painted 5 feet tall hanging in your apartment - just ask...

..even if the photograph is from a different photographer I'll still be interested - although some permissions may need to be obtained first - some photographers are happy for me to paint their work - others, well...

..and as for pricing. If the subject really turns me on I'll charge no more than I would had I painted her for myself, the only condition is that we're both happy with what and how I'll work and that you pay 50% as a deposit for me start - this is simply so that I don't end up with paintings in my gallery that don't fit in with my current portfolio...

I'm a bit of a romantic old fool and I feel that your painting has to be very special - along it's journey I make a little booklet of notes and photographs for you and I even break the paintbrush that I've used the most - these pieces of provenance come attached to the back your work...
